Welcome to Needle & Thread, a quilt retreat with a difference Quilt to your heart’s content at our quilting workshops and retreats in Aix en Issart, a small village at the centre of the wooded valleys and trout streams of the ‘sept vallees’ area of northern France. It’s a pretty, rural place but barely an hour’s drive from the terminals at Calais and only 40 minutes from Boulogne. You won’t lose valuable sewing time travelling! Our programme ranges from relaxed retreats that allow you to work on your unfinished projects through to structured workshops with specialist teachers passing on their skills. The Needle & Thread premises include two comfortable cottages and a converted stable workshop, allowing quilters to work and relax together all in one place. |
